From punk rock to the red carpet and back again, Courtney Love and Hole reunite.

So it is… Courtney Love and Hole reunite. And, it’s good timing too since Love’s been all over the place lately (i.e. being a detective / making plans for a Kurt Cobain Musical, etc.) Last year, the force of blonde posted a photograph with Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson via Facebook, reading, “2014 going to be a very interesting year.” Now, here we are, and it seems Ms. Love is anything but a tease. She’s for real. According to Pitchfork, Love, in an interview with The Quietus, confirmed the bands ‘90s makeup — Erlandson, Patty Schemel (drums) and Melissa Auf Der Maur (bass) — is indeed practicing new stuff. “I started playing with Patty and Melissa and Eric, just to see how that was,” Love said. “We already played like three or four times in the last week.” Even though we’ve seen (heard and known) this before, back when Love quickly brought the band together in early 2012, we’re still eager. If Love is full of nostalgia, then… Sure, we can be too. On a solo note, Love will be releasing (as she also told The Quietus) a new single, “Wedding Day,” before her UK tour later this spring.

And, because we’ll forever be interested spirits when it comes to the Courtney Love persona — for obvious reasons, including her stunning sense of wit — here’s some advice we’ve gathered over the years from punk rock goddess to the red carpet, and back again… From her mouth (according to the Internet) to our intrigue. — Rachel Eleanor Sutton
