The Tribeca Film Festival is a celebration of New York City as a major film-making center. We all know New Yorkers love the spotlight. The massive festival includes documentaries, shorts and independent films.  You never know what to expect from TriBeCa.  It easily moves in every and any direction. Time is Illmatic

This documentary (which will open the festival) is about Nas and his 1994 album, Illmatic, that launched his career. This film is said to represent the real Nas and his family growing up in New York City. It’s a musical journey that everyone must see.
