Last week, Ports 1961 partied at their Paris location on the Rue Saint Honoré (of course) in honor of their recently launched accessories line — set for major sales this fall.

We’ve always been fans of Ports’ sleek and traditional ready-to-wear, but we’re beyond psyched to see the Canadian-born label branch out. In celebration of the line’s release, they’ve introduced a limited edition “dusty pink shopper called the No. 10 Bag,” calmingly inspired by the brand’s No. 10 blouse (a design first introduced in the sixties that has been reissued to coincide with the release of the No. 10 bag).  “We are building a whole accessories concept around the No. 10 Bag, which we previewed on the runway in Milan,” Matteo de Rose, Ports’ accessories director, recently told WWD.

You can snatch up the bag in pink or black at the brand’s flagships in New York, Banner in Milan, the Paris boutique and a few other locations… But come fall, the incredibly sexy design, which seemingly transcends age significance, will be available in a variety of colors. It’s a tiny step for the megahouse when it comes to dipping into a full-on accessories subsidiary collection, but we’re loving the attention the detail and pacing and can’t wait to see more.  — RACHEL ELEANOR SUTTON
