Space Ninety 8

Fashion Concept Stores Space Ninety 8

Urban Outfitters has opened an artisanal marketplace in Williamsburg complete with a gallery space, rooftop bar and a soon to come restaurant. Among the usual teen-spirited items normally found at UO, local designs and handcrafted products are scattered among the crop tops and faded denim.

Situated down the block from American Apparel, Space Ninety 8 is taking “Made in the USA” up a notch with clothing, jewelry and decor produced just a few miles away. Among these is SALT SURF, a Brooklyn-based surf outfitter, where all products are made domestically. UO is also expanding their Urban Renewal line at Space Ninety 8, upcycling vintage clothes into one of a kind pieces.

Upstairs from the concept store is Gallery 98, where a rotating list of popup designers and artists will be featured. Climb another level up to take in the beautiful view from the rooftop bar and the future site of LA inspired restaurant, The Gorbals.
