They are literally one of the best things for you on this planet and they are so easy to use! These little guys are currently being studied to be a possible combatant for diabetes, they have Omega-3’s which help with brain health, they are a great source of protein, have no cholesterol, they contain calcium to strengthen your teeth and bones, they contain phosphorus that repairs and builds tissue (i.e. your muscles after kickboxing class), and they fight insulin which in turn fights belly fat! I mean, how many reasons do you need to start adding these babies to every meal? To help you guys get a head start on that, I have made a super simple recipe for chia seed pudding that will have you up on the chia bandwagon in no time! Ingredients:

1 Cup Vanilla Unsweetened almond milk

3 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds

2 Tablespoons of Agave Syrup

1 Teaspoon of dried goji berries

½ Cup pitted sour cherries (frozen preferably)

Unsweetened shaved coconut (toasted or untoasted- up to you!)

Zest of ½ a lemon

The day before:

1 cup of vanilla unsweetened almond milk

3 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds

1 Tablespoon of Raw Agave Syrup

 Add all ingredients together, stir, and place in refrigerator for at least 8 hours

Day of serving:

Take out frozen cherries so they have time to thaw out

Take chia pudding out of the fridge- it should have a tapioca like consistency

Add 1 Tablespoon of agave, lemon zest, goji berries, coconut, and cherries on top

Voila! Enjoy this super delicious, super quick, nutrient packed breakfast!
