Sexually suggestive advertisements put American Apparel on the map over a decade ago, made up primarily of topless women in tube socks and tights, many were so provocative they were banned in various countries. While the ads themselves seemed harmless, American Apparel founder Dov Charney turned out to be actually quite a creep, with multiple ongoing sexual harassment accusations from female employees.
