A team from Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Club found never seen before digital lost amiga art by Andy Warhol for Amiga Computers in 1985 and that were stored on floppy disks.

Andy Warhol paints Debbie Harry on an Amiga

New media artist Cory Arcangel saw this YouTube clip of Warhol using a Commodore Amiga way back in 1985. So they wandered, where are they now? They were hidden away in archives of floppy disks with images on them.

Lost amiga art:“Venus, 1985.”

The series consists of photographs, doodles, and other imaginary things from Warhol, including crazy creative self portrait. The images—are documented in a new exhibition called The Invisible Photograph series at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
