We round out the rad of the raddest in fashion.

September issues are soon hitting the newsstands, our mailboxes and across-the-street local bodegas. They are stocked with pages and weigh down our purses, espically being that the first fifty or so images are ads that — if good enough — make us fold the tip of the glossy page to save for future admiration. Kate Upton lounging on a bike, in a black hat and straddling a light blue mustang in Abbot + Main’s campaign (floral pants for the girls, Kate herself for the boys). Alexa Chung is the not so girl next door, girl next door in Maje’s black and whites. She also rocks the perfect fringe bang. Alexander McQueen is like a fairy tale, reminiscent of the Ice Queen, with models resembling mannequins, dressed in purple and blue feathers. DSquared2 reminds of the bad girl we wanted to be in high school (or was in college) — there are owls, plaid, printed pants, seductive stares, white-painted faces, kids that hang out on stoops… Here, we round out our favorite fashion campaigns of 2012. —  Emily Marucci
